2013 FCI GENERAL ASSEMBLY
We have the pleasure of informing the FCI members and contract partners that the FCI General
Assembly 2013 will take place on May 13-14, 2013 in Budapest (Hungary) at the following address :

Room bookings have to be made using the attached form provided by MEOE. This form has to be
returned to fci_ga@wds2013.hu or by fax +36 1 208 23 06 until 31st January 2013 at the latest.

The FCI General Committee reminds that only the full members having paid their membership
subscriptions and other fees will have the right to vote at the General Assembly. Consequently, we
ask all the full members to settle all their outstanding invoices (until 31.12.2012) and membership
subscriptions (including 2013) before May 1st, 2013 latest.
The FCI members and contract partners are kindly requested to forward to the FCI Office, latest by
February 13th, 2013 :
* the list of their delegates at the General Assembly (3 delegates maximum per country),
* the proposals and names of the candidates (elections to the General Committee and mandatory
commissions) to be submitted to the General Assembly (this applies only to the full members).
The full members which are unable to attend the conference and wish to be represented by another
full member are kindly requested to send to the FCI Office, in appropriate time before the General
Assembly, a proxy duly signed. It will not be allowed to modify the proxies neither subsequently nor
at the time of the roll-call (during the General Assembly).
We remind you that according to the FCI Statutes, the full members have to indicate, together with
their proposals, the name of the candidate(s) they wish to propose for the elections in the General
Committee, legal commission, standards commission and scientific commission (this also applies to
the people who currently already sit in these bodies, whose mandate expires and who wish to stand
for re-election) (see Enclosure 3).
The full members wishing to organise the 2017 or 2018 World Dog Show are asked to fill in the
attached document (see Enclosure 1) and send it, as a proposal, to the FCI Office. We remind that
according to the decision made by the General Committee, Rome, April 2011, the flat sum of 3000 €,
charged as prerequisite to organise the World Dog Show, will not be billed to the members that will
organise the World Dog Show together with the General Assembly. In addition, the payment of this
amount is due if and only if the member is really elected as host country by the FCI General
Assembly.
In addition, we would highly appreciate if you would fill in the attached document (see Enclosure 2)
about the non-mandatory commissions by indicating clearly in which ones your national kennel club
would like to be represented. You can either return this document by post/email (info@fci.be) or
give it to the Executive Director latest at the General Assembly.
